About Course
The National School Disability Inclusion Training Program is a comprehensive professional learning course designed to help educators, school administrators, students, community leaders, and advocates create more inclusive, accessible, and equitable learning environments.
Based on the National School Disability Inclusion Toolkit developed through the National Accessible Schools Initiative, this course provides practical guidance on disability inclusion, accessibility planning, inclusive teaching practices, accessible school environments, student leadership, mental health support, family engagement, and barrier-free education.
Participants will explore strategies for removing barriers, supporting diverse learners, implementing inclusive practices, and fostering school communities where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
Through practical examples, checklists, case studies, and action-oriented learning, participants will gain the knowledge and tools needed to advance accessibility and inclusion within their schools and communities.
