Rights Without Barriers is a youth-led initiative founded by Yasmin Atwal that promotes
accessibility, disability inclusion, legal literacy, inclusive education, and equitable opportunities for individuals with disabilities. One important part is the National Accessible Schools Initiative which focuses on empowering schools, youth, educators, and organizations to create more accessible and inclusive communities.

Rights Without Barriers was founded by Yasmin Atwal, a youth advocate, speaker, researcher, and founder of the National Disability Inclusion Toolkit. Yasmin works to advance accessibility, inclusive leadership, disability rights, and equitable opportunities for youth.

Yasmin was inspired to create Rights Without Barriers after recognizing the barriers many
individuals with disabilities continue to face in education, leadership, STEM, and everyday life. Through research, advocacy, and consultations with educators, disability organizations,
lawyers, and individuals with disabilities, she developed initiatives focused on creating more inclusive and accessible environments.

The National Disability Inclusion Toolkit is a resource designed to help schools, educators,
youth organizations, and communities improve accessibility and inclusion. The toolkit provides practical strategies, resources, policies, and recommendations related to accommodations, inclusive leadership, accessible STEM education, universal design, and disability awareness.
